Welcome to the Bnei Menashe Organaization

Bnei Menashe Org. is mostly known for its activities in what connection with Bnei Menashe tribes from the north east India and Burma , most notably for its work for returning people to Jewish and studying. The group is also only extensively involved with Bnei Menashe people. Bnei Menashe Org. also helps people whose studying Jewish law or Judaism, all over the Bnei Menashe community in Israel and abroad. Bnei Menashe Org.was formaly know as bnei menashe shinglung organzation, the Organaization is the only responsible for the custom and laws studying for the Bnei Menashe and aslo the Organaization main aim is "to strengthen the root to Torah & Eretz Israel", and also this Orgnazation is re-estabished after and personal adviced taken from the Chief Rabbi Of Israel Rabi Sholomo Amar on the 1st march 2005 and Rabi Eliyahu Avichail founder of Amishav Organaization and father of the Bnei Menashe and is also an Israeli government's recognize

Bnei Menashe Org., "son's of Menashe tribes" is an international-based Bnei Menashe organization that was founded by Gideon Menashe in Est. in 1983 by Gideon Menashe and friends in Churachandpur Dist., Manipur state in India. Mr. Gideon Menashe is a will know to the communities in Manipur and Mizoram as a Mohel to the communities, He served the whole communities in Mizoram and in Manipur, He the first to established the “Bnei Menashe Synagogue” in Churachandpur Dist.

Gideon Menashe also serve the community in all over the country until he at last retuning home (Israel) with his families in 2003.

We are the only official representative of the Bnei Menashe Communities all over the world, which is recognize by the state of Israel and India Govt. and re-establish in Israel in 2005  with the advice of Rabbi Eliyahu Avichail the ( father of the Bnei Menashe ) founder and chairman of Amishav. the Jerusalem base Org. who’s work is looking for the tent lost tribes.  It is comprised of a team of Bnei Menashe Jewish and the non-Jewish term and rabbinical studying student, and is also run by 100% Bnei Menashe community. Its main goal is to bring our “lost communities" and assist them in returning and studying Judaism and Zionism. It is the only group devoted to this purpose.

Introduction by the founder

The Story of Manmasseh, (bnei menashe) especially, would be hard to believed and understand for those who do not know our fore-fathers customs and tradition. As I was born and brought up in Lungthul village, a place where there still was persons who do not accept christainity, I learned much about our fore-fathers custom and traditions and even their song-pieces.

In 1975 I settled down at Lamka , the town of the children of menashe/ manmasseh where the forefathers of the Yomis/Zomi dwelt. As I observed their lifestyles and compared with those of the children of Israel in the Bible, I began to believed more and more the we are the descendants of Menashe tribes. Since then I wander from pillar to post to find the proved. I even went and approached Soidai the then priest in Lungthul area and learned magic-spells. It was from that time that I firmly believed that we are the descendants of Menashe tribes and the son of Joseph.

In the years 1982, I corresponded with Rabbi Eliyahu Avichiel in Israel who was the founder of the Amishav org. and I send to him a copy of all my work since 1975 I hope he still save it some where those documents, he reply with a letter of appreciation.

In the continues years I started organizing in the name of Manmashe /Menashe and requested to many persons from Lamka and the all state Manipur. I made several meeting in my residence and we began to organized ourselves in the name of Menashe. I began o roam around in the North East India to served to communities.

During those day most of the Government service post holder don't really want to join me, I understand their standing point. Thank to Hashem today those same people are the main serving communities in the North East India. As long as what they do n for Menashe Tribes I am happy for them, may Hashem bless them also.
